About Kayla...
I set my three-ringed binder, dubbed my “Bridal Bible,” down at my initial consultation with my venue's coordinator. I watched her eyes bulge. Before the years of Pinterest boards and Instagram, (Yes, I managed to plan my wedding without each of those!) the carefully tabbed sections divided by vendors reflected my inspirations, bookings, correspondence, etc. She made my binder a bigger topic of discussion than my wedding, flipping through each tab and laughing at my dedication to each. By the end of the meeting, which was super short since I had my mind made up of each detail presented, she told me I needed to be an event planner. I didn’t disagree, thinking of how fun the planning process had been and how I was able to use strengths that the Lord provided me to make my special day come to life.

"Maybe one day..." I told her.
My wedding day went incredibly smooth and followed my self-made schedule without fail.
Whew! By the time I unpacked from our honeymoon, I wanted to plan another one (someone else's, of course!) In the meantime, I found contentment in planning parties, organizing trips, and being "that friend" that manages all the details of celebrations. I am a boy mom, a coach’s wife, and an elementary music teacher. I add wedding coordinating to the mix because it brings me so much joy. I have been blessed to be a part of many brides' days, and I try to approach each of them with my motto; passionate and prepared. It is my dream job to plan others’ dream days, and I hope to get to do it for years to come!
