sharon & kyle
Can we get personal? December 7th was full of Jesus. (Okay, it was full of love, mimosas, blushes, eucalyptus, lace, fairy lights, home cookin'', tears, and laughter... and even a main street Christmas parade right in the middle of the ceremony.... but JESUS) Kyle and Sharon hold a special place in my heart. Kyle and I go back to middle school, and Sharon is one of my best friends on the planet, which is why when the opportunity for them to meet each other arose, I pushed it. They are both precious people with loving souls and I wanted them to love EACH OTHER! I pushed, it happened, and BOOM! (Yes, my back is starting to hurt a bit from patting it so much with this!)
Doubling as director and bridesmaid was so fun, and definitely eventful!

The blushes, overflowing florals, and natural backdrops made for some amazing scenery, and the beautiful couple didnt hurt, either!

If you have aspirations for a fall wedding in all its glory, look no further! Madison, her Mom, and I sat down in the summer and they filled me on their dream of FALL; apples, hay, mums, pumpkins, the works! Boy, did the wedding deliver!
It was a windy day on Windy Hill, but one filled with so much love and fun. Blankets and a fire were provided for the cold, and it was worth it for the beautiful outside scenery that Windy HIll provides; the windmill, the sunset, and the tall oaks that towered over their ceremony.
The food warmed the soul and the guests continually warmed the dancefloor- capping the night off with a soul train!
What a day. What a couple. What a family! What JOY!

BRANDY & JUSTIN

Brandy and Justin were an absolute joy to work with. April showers threatened the day with the radar colored with yellow and red, but not one drop fell. It was a beautiful time with beautiful people in the array of lilac and sage green throughout their attire and decor.
Brandy was stunning in her timeless satin gown from Dimitra Design, so much so that I warned Justin that his thoughts on not crying at the alter miiight be out the window!
My favorite part of the day was hanging out with the youngest members of the bridal party- can you say ADORABLE? The suspender-clad munchkins were the highlight of my day and kept me reaching for my dress pockets full of fruit snacks (a staple for wee wedding party guests who I need to cooperate!)

Guests entered The Lighthouse Event Center and were greeted by my favorite personal touch of the night- a "guest book" of a wooden sign clad with Lake Keowee's outline and "KEATING". DJ Raquel kept everyone on their toes with fun games requested by the bride and groom and dances that got every age out on the dance floor. By the end of the day,
it was evident that Brandy and Justin are loved by so many; proof in the best man's and maid of honor's toasts and the guests' desires to stay until the very end to wish them well under their walkway of sparklers.
Brady and Justin, thank you for entrusting me with so many aspects of your special day. I hope you both (and Connor!) have an awesome start as a family of 3!

It took about 5 minutes into Rachel and Jo's tasting to realize they were going to be so much fun to work with. Their parents, who were present as well, just added to that realization. They clearly wanted to have a good time and to treat their guests to an array of food and sweets by The Lighthouse. I knew if their wedding was going to be anything like their menu, we were in for a treat!
Rachel was the most gracious and patient bride; thank goodness, being that I was 10 days postpartum on the day of her wedding. It was a gorgeous October day and the bridal party was full of life and love for the bride and groom.
The highlight of my day was the ceremony, where Jo's father officiated. A newly internet-ordained minister, he added his flair to what was vows and a ring exchange full of laughter!
Rachel and Jo, If your life together is as lighthearted and fun as your wedding, you're in for a treat!

Jordyn was one of my first brides. I remember telling her "Ill do your wedding for $50- just spread the word and help me get this business going!"
I had my job cut out for me when she let me know that they were on a military time crunch and needed to move their wedding up months ahead. Good thing she was so easy to work with!
Jordyn and Ross are gorgeous people, and their quaint wedding on beautiful farmland in Westminster followed suit.
It was the only wedding ive coordinated in cowgirl boots, which matched the beautiful bridesmaids attire.
After getting hitched on the steps of the farmhouse, guests partied the rest of the night under the lights of the barn and the outside dance floor. It was a perfect summer night to get married!
